I love my Nikon D80.

It has a nice grip and rather rugged. It slammed ard my car a couple of times (in a camera bag) everyday and it's still working.

It is slightly heavy and bulky for travelling but the weight gives me a good stability.

Ask yourself wat kind of purpose you're getting ur camera for. If it's for snapping pics of partying ppl, get a small handy one that does not get in your way when moving ard. I had a Canon powershot A460 and i hate it. The pictures tends to get noisy over some time. A lot of my frens have this problem too.

I tried Olympus C5050 and it's a pretty nice camera. Sony generally works nicely but i just feel they're over priced. My group of frens are all into Panasonic Lumix and all of them love it. I have a fren with some Ricoh camera. Surprisingly, it works a lot better then i tot. The pictures comes out very nicely. I managed to get my hands on Canon 350D. it produce nice pics and colours but maybe I'm more used to my D80's weight, I feel 350D is a bit too light.

I can't wait to get my hands on a Nikon D300:)

Nikon 6.1MP Digital Camera with 18-55mm. Lens - D40

This one is my favorite one, but any of the coolpix little colored Nikon cameras will work great. Like Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera - Plum (S550) also Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera - Cool Blue (S550).  I think they are the best ones to own.  I have had others and I get the most of out of Nikon.  Best pictures and easy to use.  I hope you like these as much as I do.
