  2. probably a Skye or a Scottie , and Sealyhams!

    Scottie - http://puppydogweb.com/gallery/scottisht...

  3. I have a Parson Russel which is a jack russel only taller.  She is great.  You need to have time to train them since they are high energy dogs (but most all small dogs are) BUT they are very smart so it really isn't that hard.  I got roxy to shack in a matter of 40 minutes.  You don't want a cute fuzzy dog with no brains.  They are very hard to train and can cause a lot of trouble for you.  There are tons of cute dogs that are smart and that is where you will find the most joy in your pets.

Also the other wonderful things about Roxy is she a hunting dog not a guard dog so she only barks when she has a reason.  When she need to come in, go out, food, stuff like that..  Not just to bark her head off when she hears a butterfly.  She never barks at people UNLESS she wants you to keep playing or let her come hang out with you.  Pretty much to say hey I'm here I want to play or I need (...).  I hate the fact that most little dogs bark for NO reason at all.  So it was great finding her..

But remember never get ANY dog unless you are will to take the time to train them and play with them.

  4. Miniature Pinscher

  5. im more interested in the bigger breeds! the little ones r yappy and luv to bite! it is very rare that i come across a kissing chihuahua (not biting) and a jack russel that wags its tail (and doesnt growl)

  6. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, so adorable!! They can go up to fifteen pounds though!

  7. Chihuahua's are always a fav of mine, long hairs are especially gorgeous, even though they are slightly bigger than pom's they are just as pretty and don't have near as many health problems, my two are actually usually mistaken as pom's...

  15. jack russel

    west highland terrier

    patterdale terrier

do those count?  they are close to 10 lbs.

  16. Papillons.  They are supposed to be between 5 - 11 pounds.  My female is 5.5 pounds.  My male kept growing.  He is 14 pounds.  Just make sure you see the parents, and if they are both standard size, your puppy should be standard size.

The puppy in the first picture, and the puppy with his daddy are the same puppy.  The first picture of him alone, he was only 2 months.  The picture of him with is daddy, he is almost 4 months old.

    Here's mine.

  17. I've had some good experiences with various tiny breeds including Schipperkes, King Charles Cavalier, Miniature Daschunds, Chihuahuas, etc. but if I had to choose something on the small side it would probably be a Frenchie, a Pug, a Mini Bull Terrier or a Whippet.

I don't really like those long hair breeds and terriers (except for the Mini Bully) are really low on my list of likes.

I'll stick with the Giants.  They think they're tiny, lap dogs anyway and they certainly are much sweeter than most of the tiny dogs too.

Of course that's just my own personal experience.

  18. I love my Bullmastiff!

  19. I like the chiuawah they are the best.

  20. dahtsuns and palms and chiwauahha

  21. I have a Shihtzu and a chihuahua. I prefer the Shihtzu, because of her personality, she's not as clingy as peanut is. and by the way he is a kisser and shares them with everyone.
