  10. My very favourite is: Cogito, ergo sum (I think, therefore I am) and  Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum (I doubt, therefore I think, therefore I am) by the philosopher René Descartes.

    My next favourite is:  tempus fugit (time flees), also tempus perditum non rediit (time lost does not return)

    My life experiences have taught me that:

    lupus non mordet lupum (a wolf does not bite a wolf), and

    Mea Culpa (My fault) and mea maxima culpa (my greatest fault), and

    sine scientia ars nihil est (without knowledge, skill is nothing)

  11. Yesterday my friend asked me to teach her a Latin phrase because she takes french, and the first thing that came out of my mouth was:

    Much blood flows in the house

    Who knew I could be darker than Hello Kitty on Halloween?  I sure didn't.
