I've tried many mascaras. My eyelashes are sort of thin and short in length and they don't point downward but they're certainly not curled.

I have tried an endless number of mascaras, and so far the only one I like that I have come across to is Clinique's High Impact Mascara.

I am also planning to try DiorShow, the brush is very large and it catches a lot of eyelashes that normal mascaras do not. Although I have heard it is slightly overrated. It's the same thing as BadGal lash, which I have also tried briefly and I like. They are made by the same company, so if you're looking for a "bang for your buck", definitely try BadGal.

A lot of people say Define-A-Lash is good, but I personally do not like it. When I get to the length that I desire, it looks like I have packed mascara on and it gives the illusion that it is very clumpy, although it isn't really. It just looks sort of dry (possibly because it is waterproof). The one I have is in the lime green tube, but it seems to work for a lot of other people.

And one last tip, Sometimes when I feel like I have overpacked the mascara and it is way too obvious, I like to go over it with Great Lash's Clear Mascara. It sort of conditions like a primer and it takes that excess mascara off and makes the eyelashes look more natural (although you have to wipe the brush after doing this or your tube of clear mascara will have hints of black in it.)

If you're looking into buying a mascara (not sure if you're asking this question just out of curiosity), Sephora is offering a product called the Lash Stash, and it is basically little samples of 7 really good mascaras, and it's $25 dollars (the same price as one DiorShow). Those little samples do last a long time so it is worth it.

My new favorite mascara is the maybelline colossus mascara it makes my asian lashes look soo good, way better than the lancome courbe virtuose that cost me an arm and a leg.  It gives volume and length and I love it!!! And I got it for 4 dollars at walgreens so that was awesome...plus im a mascara junkie ive been through them all and this is up high on the good list!!

Volume Exact by covergirl works great for me because I am on a tight budget and it doesn't clump up my lashes but leaves them long and full. It also doesn't flake off like many others do.
