What is your favorite mother child moment beside the birth?

i agree that breastfeeding is a wonderful bonding experience, i love when i have my daughter laying beside me and she gets those "drunk-ish looking" eyes as she falls asleep.

spending time with each other and getting ready for elementary school middle school high school. school dances. shopping with them. and college. then marraige kids. all that stuff.

I used to love falling asleep with my baby sleeping on my chest.

I agree with Nursing your newborn.  Nurse as long as you possibly can.  Once you ween, it's a special moment you can never get back.  Another favorite is just sitting or laying and watching them sleep.  There are different views on this next one but holding my baby as often as I can.  Soon they will start to become independent little people and will not want all the cuddling and snuggling - they start to only want or need mommy when something goes wrong in their little world.  I have four living daughters (son was born with Potter's Syndrome' and did not survive), I have 4 Granddaughters, one of which we lost to SIDS at 5mo.  So Cherish ALL the moments no matter  how big or small.  One day you will sit back and wonder where the time went.  Oh, and keep that camera ready!!  Take pictures of everything big and small!
