What is your favorite movie about the Vietnam War?

What is your favorite movie about the Vietnam War, and why?

I myself haven't seen enough movies about it to pick one, but my favorite so far is Platoon. I mostly like it because of its good length, and the actors who were in it.

PLATOON!!!!!!!! - THE best movie ever, ok maybe not ever but it is the best war movie

there might not be quite as much war fights going on in this one, but there is fighting, lol, and it is definetely a vietnam war movie, lol, but i liked good morning vietnam, lol, robin williams is a good actor.

Full Metal Jacket.  Being in the Army I think it is the best portrayal of basic training and what war was like in Vietnam.

Well, if "Jacob's Ladder" can be considered a Vietnam War movie, I'd choose that.

Other than that, I'd have to say "Full Metal Jacket".
