  1. w***e 2.  It's a documentary mixed with a story about prostitution.  It's incredibly moving.

  4. I second the Fried Green Tomatoes...

    but my favorite movie is Imagine Me and You, starring Piper Perabo and Lena Heady. It's an amazing british love/british comedy story.

    I highly, highly reccommend both.

    Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon. An Oscar worthy performance from Ruth but in those days, indie films were never considered.

  12. The Holy Mountain by Alejandro Jodorowsky http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071615/?c=1 . I get the feeling that most people would hate this film, but I think it's absolutely brilliant and my all-time favorite.

  16. "Roman Scandals" from 1933. It's a musical comedy and very funny. It stars Eddie Cantor who was a big star from the 1920s to the 1950s. The song "Keep Young And Beautiful", still heard today, originated in this movie.

    It has been released on video, but not yet on DVD :-(

I am not sure how many people have seen it because it is kind of old and a friend of mine didn't even remember where she got the VHS tape,but it is called " I LOVE YOU TO DEATH" I guess you would call it dark comedy.It is about this wife who tries to kill her husband because he cheats on her,they do everything in a hilarious way.Keeonue(spelling,yikes!) Reeves is in it as a killer dude lol

  28. Do you like musical & magic? If you do, then I will recommend the movie Xanadu starring Olivia Newton-John. It also is my 2nd most fav movie of all time. 1st fav is Ghost starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore & Whoopi Goldberg.
