What is your favorite place in the interior of Mexico?

I have found that when one ventures beyond the beach resorts and border zone, there are many beautiful and interesting things to see and do in Mexico. What are your experiences?

My family is from Guanajuato, Mexico. I'm not just saying this because I come from there, but Guanajuato, Guanajuato (Capital city) is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Mexico. It's a really nice place to be in and explore, as well as cities around that area.

Hola.  I like Oaxaca.  Second Mexico City, only because of all the great attractions and things to do.  As soon as you leave the beach anywhere in Mexico you will find the true beauty.

My favourite spot is Mexico City.  I went in April and the weather was incredible.  We explored several ruins, pyramids, churches, flower gardens, music venues, art shows in the park, archaeology, museums, shopping, etc

Guadalajara,beutiful city! Colima Colima,food is the best in region!!! Monterrey Nuevo Leon..another beutiful city and alot of money their!
