What is your favorite "football code?"?

The reason I ask this is because, apart from soccer, there are many football codes. There is Gridiron from the USA, Galic football from Ireland (which looks like a cross from soccer and Australian football), we have both Rugby Union and Rugby League(if someone could explain the difference I would be greatful) and there is Australian Football.

Personally my favortite is Australian Football, or Footy as we call it here. Having been brought up in Melbourne, its not hard to develop a passion for the game. I find it the most skillfull of all of the football codes. Its played on an oval field with an oval ball, adding to unpredictability of the way the ball travells, You use both hand and footskills, there is no offside rule, and its a running game, so you have to be fit.
