...and food/dish from there, including beverage? or do you prefer to cook at home?

*******************

my favorite restaurant is applebee's! i usually order the salmon entree' and a side cesaer salad. my choice of beverage is water w/lemon but start out first w/1-2 glasses of wine. btw, i love their babyback ribs --the sauce is bursting with flavors (yum-yum)!!!!. although, i love to eat out, i enjoy cooking my meals at home --for one it's safer and two, at least i know how it's prepared in the kitchen.

  2. I don't care for the big-name chain restaurants. I never liked the food. My favorite restaurant is a little place near the beach called Bravo-Bravo. I always get baked mozzerella as an appetizer and a chocolate godiva martini, then for the entree I usually get baked parmesean shrimp, for dessert I always get a fruit tart... delicious :)

  3. texas roadhouse and teds

  4. I like tgi-friday's!

their chicken finger blt is amazing!

i always get a coke, just to be simple

  5. i love Bonefish Grill. it's owned by Outback. they have an amazing variety of fresh seafood,i love the corn/crab chowder, i always get the Chilean sea bass, YUM! they also have an appetizer called bang bang shrimp, omg it's sooo good. a terrific wine list and great martinis. we were just there 2 days ago.

  6. rockbottom brewey, mac n' chicken which comes with this huge house salad with bacon bits and egg on it... and their iced tea with like ginger in it. it's so good.

and stir crazy is my other favorite.

if you like stri fry, any of their's is good. (you go up with this dish/bowl thing and fill with with as much vegetables and stuff as you want and what sauce you want, and they cook it right in front of you) i don't like stir fry so i get their other amazing stuff on the menu like the orange chicken and soup. the chocolate fondu is an amazing dessert, and i get the mango spritzer as a drink.

  7. Italian

Romano's Macaroni Grill - Chicken Scaloppine

Olive Garden - house salad, Zuppa Toscana

    International

The Cheesecake Factory - Vietnamese Shrimp Summer Rolls, Thai Lettuce Wraps

Ruby Tuesday - Thai Phoon Shrimp, Asian Dumplings

    Southwestern/standard

    Outback surf-n-turf

any good BBQ (real smoked, not boiled)

    - However, since I had an emergency heart catheterization last summer, I have learned to do some very good cooking at home with healthy fare - high fiber whole grain cereals, breads and pastas, low fat turkey/chicken anything, it's easy to find flavorful and healthy ingredients and substitutes in most grocery stores nowadays. I rarely eat out anymore and do miss those favorites, but also enjoy my own cooking.

  8. We don't care for chain restaurants. In Fayetteville NC, there is a Mexican restaurant, can't remember the name but its across from the mall next to McDonalds. It is great as is Sammio's in Fayetteville and Hope Mills. And in Dothan Alabama out on the by-pass near the motels is a family owned seafood restaurant-I'm having a terrible night with names-with the best steamed oysters.

  9. When I lived in the states my favorite restuarant used to be Charley Browns in Marina Del Rey.  I loved the beef medallions  -- don't even know if it still exists now.  I also like Gumps too, and devour their shrimp.

Here in Australia my favorite restaurant is Flourishing Gardens (it is Japanese) and it is outstanding, but we eat there only rarely.  I don't have a favorite there because it is all good.
