What is your favorite restaurant on "The Hill" in St. Louis MO.....especially for lunch......and why?

Rigazzi's for me too.  You get a pile of food for not so much money.  And the feeling of it...like it was 1945.  My grandmother grew up right across the street from there.

You could also stop by Volpi's for some salami and cheese, run across the street to Missouri Bakery from bread and cookies, and have a nice picnic in the park.

Not sure of spelling but I think Rigazzi's is the best.  Wonderful food and great atmosphere.

I take my lunch so eating out isn't an option. However Rigozzi's(sp?) has wonderful food.

On behalf of my sister who has been to all of them...even Charlie Gitto's...she has rated her top picks for pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads and tapas.

Guido's on Shaw - Great Italian but also do some Spanish tapas so you can get a good mix.  Reasonably priced.  Not a fan of Rigazzi's unless it is for a Happy Hour drink...
