2004, no doubt about it, the sox traded Nomar(which was seen as a milestone) beat the yankees with the historic comeback and swept the cards to end an 86 year world series drought.

Actually two seasons 1975 and 1976 the days of the Big Red Machine. Remember it well just like it was yesterday.

Its gotta be the 2004 season!

Red Sox and Yankees ALCS was absolutely stunning. History!

Cardinals and Astros NLCS was as intense as ever. History!

Then of course, the Sox swept STL to win the WS for the first time in 86 years. History for sure!

Can't really beat that!

Favorite seasons, 1996 thru 2000, 4 World Series titles for the Yankees but if you are talking sports seasons, I look forward to the start of baseball the most but also look forward to to the start of the NFL season, NASCAR & college basketball & football.

2001, that game 7 between the D-backs and Yanks will go down as one of the greatest games of all time. Plus, with all that patriotic pride going around immediately after September 11, it just added an extra something to that Fall Classic. Plus, the D-backs won!!!
