  1. It's not really like a video game where you have a signature finishing move or a "Fatality".  I think it's important to learn them all.  I think that some body types are especially good at certain submissions.  I'm not a slim leggy guy who would ever do a body triangle to secure a tap out, but I might use that position to set up an arm for a kimura, reverse hammer lock, or keylock.  My favorite as easiest to learn is a rear naked sleeper, but I think the most effective could really be anything depending on your position.

  2. triangle!

  3. idk about submissions, but i think a comical and entertaining throw to watch is a "head n arm"

    lol youtube it..

  4. My favorite is the leg lock and ankle locks.  I catch people all of the time on those, because everyone is always concerned with getting choked or an armbar.

  5. Well its not JUST in the UFC. Remember UFC is not a sport or a martial art. Most submission moves come from brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My favorite move is the armbar from guard. I don't know why I like it though.

Most interesting is the Gogoplata. Try not to be on the receiving end of that xD. Thats The Worst.

  6. Gogoplata

  7. I get a kick out of the rear naked choke!!

But this is by far the coolest submission I have ever seen!!!! (A flying scissor into a heal hook!) Check it out!!
