  1. Well, I'm the parent, my favorite thing is stepping back and watching my kids figure out life. I love that I can learn what *I* want to learn, and my kids know that learning doesn't have to stop.

My other kids are out for the night, but my eight yo said that what she loves best is being able to sleep as late as she wants, and stay up late to do what she likes in the quiet of the night.

  2. I like to stay at home. I believe if you arrange for a certain section of your home to be for homework and studying only, it makes you more efficent.

What I would change is nothing. All of what I learn is according the state standards. The only thing I miss is having competition.

  3. I love homeschool. I don't have any complaints on my doing homeschool.

  4. My favorite thing is spending time with my kids.

What would I change or improve on?  If I could, I would spend less (or no)  time working outside the home so I could devote myself full time to teaching my kids.

  5. Flexibility, opportunity, trust and companionship! Where else can you find such fine qualities all at once? I really love the concept.... The only 'improvement' I'd seek is for more mainstream recognition and respect for this mode of learning.

Homeschooled kids are naturally more innovative, self-reliant and motivated. They make good entrepreneurs and strong societal figures due to their organizational skills. A lot of our founding leaders had an element of homeschooling in them as well.
