  1. Just being there. Dublin, Killkenny, Cork, Galway, and Sligo are great places to visit. There is great craic in practicaly all of the pubs you go to. Too many songs to mention, but, The Fields of Athenry is one of my favorites. The Irish people are the most hospitable people in the world.

  2. Cultchie girls with black hair! Although anything thats Irish is just great!!!

  3. Pubs, redheads, leprechauns, and the IRA

  4. The redheads!

  5. My favorite thing was that our travel agency put us in the middle of Ireland (sorry I forgot the name of the town) but we were not too far from Dublin and not too far from Galway and Limerick and Kilkenny and several other towns. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the modern looking towns as much as the old looking towns. There are narrow streets with tidy, compact, colorful buildings. The signs and facades are a joy to look at. Even in a working class Irish town you can have every convenience, from tobacco to meat, in walking distance.

Dublin's architecture is underrated. I would call it epic.

Galway on a sunny day is beautiful and unique.

The Cliffs of Moher are a necessary day trip, if they're in range. Breathtaking views and vendors and musicians everywhere.
