What is your favorite type of Tequila?

1800 select silver is my favorite its got a good bite to it which some may not like.  If I'm not paying its Patron.

I used to drink tequila after-hours all the time at this bar where I used to work .  I don't remember a lot of them now, but just to throw my 2-cents in, I would have to say it depends on how I'm drinking it.

For just a shot of tequila, there are a lot better out there than Patron Silver.  I would go with Patron Platinum (for which we charged $25 a shot).  Very smooth.

For making margaritas, I actually still like a gold tequila like Cuervo.  I'm just so used to getting it, the top shelf stuff doesn't work for me.

And for starting off the night to get drunk on the cheap, I always go with a shot of rail tequila and a Bud Light (in that order...liquor then beer).  Usually Montezuma Blue.  Disgusting, I know, but it gets the job doen.

don julio is the best tequila. It's like $90 for a handle but it is the smoothest I've ever had I've never had. It's so silky smooth with a compelling combination of light cinnamon, honey and herbaceous flavors balanced by a lightly smoky taste and dark chocolate notes. Black Medallion but the regular cuervo is not even in the top five.

Its made with 100% blue agave tequilas. Cuervo isn't. Any  tequila made with 100% blue agave tequilas will be good Tequila.

Most people will say Patron I'd guess, but I like Cabo Wabo reposado (the blue bottle)... Chilled in the freezer, I could sip it all night!
