What is your favorite type of food ?

When I am older I might want to open up a resturant and serve food but being vegetearian I don't know what type of food is best & taste great as well - I thought of some ideas below:

Italian , Greek , Vegetearian & Vegan , Medittereainan etc, Also any other ideas ?

I love so many types of food, it has to be fresh, I love to know where it came from, which farm or county etc. It's all about free range, organic, home grown but this all comes at a price which can be high. So I it's about how the food is cooked, where it came from and how it's served.

I love my meat, spices and oriental tastes, i love to cook it too. Experiment with all the spices ive got and make really tastey dishes

An italian is sooooo the best way to do things. You got pizza pasta and icecream alng with meditterainian styles and olive oil! Woo!

You could open up any kind of restaurant you want, but these are other types of food that you havent mentioned:-

Indian, Chinese, Japanese(yes, there are japanese restaurants), I have also seen French restaurants.

I think that there is a lot of Italian, Indian and chinese restaurants out there and could be a lot of competition. Try something different and interesting such as Japanese, French or Meditterannean.

ps. Japanese restaurants are just like sushi bars, but serve more and a better variety of food and drink

I love hot and spicy food ! Especially seafood....Roasted fish with hot chilli lemon sauce from Indonesia, Korean BBQ, SzeChuan Chicken, Mayo Shrimp and most of all Fried Scallop covered with sesame and Black Pepper sauce...mmm...yummieeee....(now i'm starving again..)

Tips:Dont forget to serve great wine too.... :-)

american! I.E. meat loaf, burgers, bar-b-q.........and my favorite fried catfish and hushpuppies. you can also do vegetarian, corn on the cob, fried ocra, squash, eggplant, turnip greens, pinto beans, biscuits, cornbread, mashed or fried potatoes the posssibilities are endless.........good luck!!!

As a Chinese, that would be first priority. We prefer the steam goods such as 'dim sum' & Chicken feet. (yeah u knw wot i mean ppl)

But I also love Brazilian & Portuguese food. (you've got to try the Fejuada, mmm..... black eyed beans with spicy sausage in a stew)

Angolan food & don't forget Nandos... Big up that Peri-peri chicken!!!

My personal choice  would be Italian , However try many Ethnic types before you decide. All countries have good food and you can  serve a varied menu. If a costumer comes from, lets say Iran or Ir ac doesn't mean they only like lamb. Be creative.
