  1. Avira AntiVir is free; every time you update you get prompted to upgrade but it is a good scanner

AVG or Avast are good alternatives.

use it conjunction with Superantispyware - also free

Frankly, I wouldn't pay Xoftspy a penny; not an outfit I trust.

  2. The best antivirus is Kaspersky 2009.Light,fast,full protection and easy usage.U can try the 30 day trial version and see for urself.

  3. AVG Free

I used to use Norton 360 but I found that it caused a lot of issues with my computer. AVG Free is pretty much as good as Norton, and I enjoy its protection.

  4. I use Norton Antivirus and it works really well. I never have any problems with it.

  5. The best setup for me:

Avira AntiVir + Good Firewall i.e. Online Armor Free + SUPERAntiSpyware (on-demand)

    No less, no more.

  6. Avast is a good anti-virus

Avira is also a good anti-virus
