  1. I have no favorites war is h**l.

  2. War for Texas Independence

  3. The revolutionary war. We got independence. It is fascinating.

  4. I've become sort of a WW II buff.

  5. Whichever one killed the fewest people.  Better still, whichever ones never started in the first place.

  6. Certainly not Iraq, the Gulf (Dad went there, was nearly attacked by SCUDs), Vietnam, Korea (look how THAT sorted out),.....

Y'know what, the American Revolution was the only justifiable war in our history. We get props in the World Wars for not starting them, yet ending them. The Mexican War was the first Vietnam, in my opinion. No wonder those people are in shambles.

  7. No war can be a favorite considering the people that died.

I am a WWII war buff. From the German march across Europe to the war in the Pacific. The defeat of the Japanese at Midway to to the defeat of the Germans in north Africa.

  8. from a historical stand point -

    The U.S. Civil War

WWII comes in a very close second

I never get tired of learning about either one.

  9. I've always been most "interested" in three of them. The Revolutionary War, WWI, and WWII. Posting saying "what is your favorite war" is kind of wrong because war is not something to have a favorite of. My interest in wars being upon our independence and freedoms.

  10. WTF ?

You should word your question differently

perhaps which war in history do you prefer to study

Or which war was more significant

No war is a favorite unless your Frank Burns

  11. Any war from WWII on back, thats when other countries still liked the US

  12. I don't think any war should be liked, but I find the Vietnam War MOST interesting.
