What is your favourite AUSTRALIAN state?

I like 2 the same:

-South Australia (Because I was born there)

and

-NSW (Because I live there now)

Tell me what's yours and why?

Love -NT (live), Qld (born), NSW (Sydney), Tas (holidays)

Hate - WA (boring), SA (backward), Vic (Victorians & AFL)

I live in Sydney but my favourite is Queensland, its warm and Beautiful. And more relaxed than Sydney. Wish i could move there. They also have good roads, and housing is more affordable.

I don't mean to put any other states down .. I think they're all pretty special in their own ways...

but my favourite is Victoria.

I was born in N.S.W  but have lived most of my adult life in Vic.

why ? because it's a great place.. the people are great etc etc

I LOVE NSW, best state in the best country in the world

QLD: get all the floods

NT: cyclones, too hot

SA: too boring

WA: boring much?

TAS: im leavin this one totally alone, but you get where i'm coming from

VIC: too wet, so overrated

I must have been living in the dark ages as I did not know that Colorado was now an Australian state.

My fav is QLd -because I live there

N.T -for its beautiful National Park

WA- It's rugged area of the Kimberleys

TAS- because is so mellow and seems peaceful.

Its the country towns that I like especially,

The inland 19th century country towns of Victoria (built with the money from the gold.)

The SE and NE coastal towns of NSW

The hinterland country of northern NSW and southern Queensland

The very small towns of South Australia where the Murray meets the sea - or used to before it dried up

I was born and raised in Sydney... I havnt been to any other states.. so I dont know what they're like..

1st preference to NSW - Home Sweet Home

2nd preference to VIC - Great for holidays

Closely followed by QLD. Don't care too much about the other states.

!st choice - Queensland. I live here and the fantastic weather more than makes up for any deficiencies.

2nd choice - Victoria. I absolutely love Melbourne. It's the best city in Australia.
