What is your favourite Australian Holiday?

Fellow Aussies and those that visit our shores regularly, where do you love to go for holidays within Australia. Some people go camping every year, others go to QLD.

As a child we used to go to Canberra at least once a year and I quite enjoyed that. These days a short getaway for a shopping trip in Melbourne would top my list.

What is your favourite?

Well I live about an hours drive from the gold coast so.. yeah. I think going down to melbourne would be nice, I have been to Sydney countless times and it's getting boring haha.

definatley great barrier reef. if u stay on airlie beach(the mainland) its cheaper than say hamilton island and then catch a cruise ship out to the reef. absolutley the best holiday ive been on

I love Melbourne and usually manage to get down there 3 or 4 times a year for shopping, football and/or some other sporting event.

The best family holiday we ever had was a houseboat holiday on the Myall Lakes. It was beautiful and so relaxing with great fishing for the adults and we hardly saw the kids - they wanted to live on a houseboat forever.

Our camping trip to Cape York and over to Thursday Island last year.  Fantastic trip and great photos.  I also love Cairns.  The next place I'd love to see is the Kimberley Region.

Would have to be Gold Coast, Surfers, and the Theme Parks! never tire of it.

Surfer's paradise>< its got lots of fun and its near brisbane and if big brother's on you can go to a live show there. Well not anymore XD!

i love the gold coast

but truly i never get tired of going to the Hunter Valley in winter

for a place so close to Sydney i just think its beautiful.

i love visiting all the vineyards
