I like Irish first names (I'm not Irish by the way)

My favourite ones are Seamus, Padraig and Cormac for boys and Niamh, Siobhan and Sinead for girls. Do you have an Irish first name yourself? Which ones do you prefer?

  5. I first saw the name Siobhan (pronounced, shuh-VAUGHN, if I'm not mistaken) when I was in Ireland many years ago. This was the name of our tour guide; a porcelain-skinned, dark haired beauty who told us all about the castles and the Shannon River. I'm also partial to Aislinn, Aidan, Connell, Conor (as in King Conor McNessa), Dhomnhaill, Maggie, Megan.

    Not so much Brefne.
