  1. The Metropolitan Line has always been my favourite line. There's a sense of uniqueness about it being the only remaining tube line with trains with conventional seating. Also, it's one of the less packed lines. Few things are more pleasing in the tube than stepping on a Metropolitan Line carriage, having a multitude of seats to choose from and enjoying a relaxed journey in one of those big comfy seats (especially after you've been standing on a packed Central or Northern Line train).

They're also great when you're travelling with someone or a group of friends. None of this having your friends scattered around the carriage and communicating with them by sign language.

  2. The Waterloo & City Line, known in the industry as "The Drain".

Originally built by the Southern Railway because they were prevented from extending their surface railway into the City of London, it has since been subsumed into the London Underground network.

Because of the nature of its construction, it used to require special (dare I say, unique) rolling stock and this added to the character of the line.

  3. Victoria line, followed close second by circle. Hate the northern and bakerloo, they have much smaller tunnels to get to the platform, not good for claustrophobic people!

  4. The Victoria Line

  5. Jubilee, it's hardly ever delayed

  6. Victoria- the fastest and I use it 5 days a week

  7. I like the Victoria Line... as its the first line I ever travelled on... and onlike some other ones there are always good distances between stations... and those trains really get going.

  8. district  line.

  9. Hammersmith, portobello road, kensington, hyde park, notting hill gate. Its all about west London

  10. The Victoria is lovely. You can go watching the dogs at Walthamstow, change to the northern line or get off at various rail termini, and go down to Electric Avenue, just next door to Brixton station.

  11. Picadilly

Takes me from Heathow into central London whenever I visit.

  12. Northern cuz it goes London Bridge, Waterloo, Leiscester Square, Oxford Circus.

Does it go CAMDEN? I can't remember but all my fave places...

  13. All of them, I love the underground, its brilliant!

  14. I'd have to say the circle line... i went down to London last weekend for my 21st and we used that the most! Great stops along the way like the British Museum! xx

  15. The Victoria Line....Walthamstow to Brixton with Oxford Street and Buckingham Palace in between....what could be better?
