  1. Don't talk to me about Spain right now, where I am at the moment, on the east coast, Cummunidad de Valencia, the whole place has been washed away and out to sea. Except for the trees and boats and stuff that were washed back ashore to land on what is left of our wonderful beaches.

  2. I liked the refugios from Roncesvalles to Burgos. From Burgos to Leon the refugios were not bad, but from Leon to Santiago they were pretty lousy ( way too many people ) I stayed at a small one , can't remember the town, that was run by the Knights of Malta. They prepared a great meal for the pilgrims and ceremoniously poured water on our bare feet and blessed them.
