  11. tender beef  brisket with barbque sauce and mustard potato salad, along with corn bread and butter  and iced tea or

  12. Mmm, my favorite is a nice ribeye steak grilled at home with these simple but delicious seasonings: season salt, onion powder, and garlic powder all in equal amounts.

My trick is to sprinkle a nice amount of each seasoning on both sides, and randomly poking it with a fork afterwards to get all the seasonings deep into the meat and also the fat. Then I let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to soak in and absorb all the nice flavors.

When your ready to grill, pull out the steaks from the fridge to give them a chance to warm up a bit then go start your grill. After about 10 or more minutes of preheating your grill, turn the heat to medium low and grill the steaks for about 8 minutes, or until you see a good amount of liquid on top of the meat. Flip em over, and give them about another 5 minutes or until done to your liking.

If you have put too little seasoning on after tasting, a dab of salt makes a huge difference.

A nice twice baked potato goes great with this as well, but I won't get into that.

  13. Chicken parmigiana, pasta and a Greek salad.

  14. now that i'm here in dubai, uae its good that i can still cook my fave dish denengdeng saluyot with papaya and other vegetables with grilled fish. and beef pinapaitan (philippine dish)

  15. siomai or dumplings, spaghetti, pizza, chicken, steak, french fries, burger, sapin sapin

  16. You are NOT going to like this answer:  a buffet.  At our family dinners (3 generations, I was a child), we would have two long tables, end to end, stuffed with dishes, and usually another spot for drinks, desserts, silverware & condiments, just whatever didn't fit anywhere on those two tables.  Always meat, various side dishes and salads, and a choice of desserts.  "Taking a little of everything" wasn't an option, but if you took it, you ate it.  And at church, it was always a million kinds of casserole, plus salads and desserts of all kinds.  Mmmm...let's describe a plate...thin-sliced beef and turkey, mashed potatoes (red, with salt and white pepper), gravy, biscuits, waldorf salad, jello salad (or several), green bean casserole, macaroni casserole (several), goulash, yeast role - and that's before dessert.  Banana bread...lemon meringue pie...

Otherwise, Thai food, northern Chinese (Hunan-Szechuan), or Japanese.

  17. Honestly, PB&J

If i were ever on death row, that would be my last meal. PB&J is my comfort food.

  18. mmm rice with meat and gravy(=

  19. Lima beans and ham hocks  with corn bread its so good.

  20. My mom's lasagna with cheesy cheesy garlic bread and a antipasto salad with lots of cheese and meat. Served with a nice bottle of red wine of course!

It was tough to pick bc I have so many favorite foods but if it was to be my last meal on earth I think thats what I would pick, so it must be my favorite, right? lol

  21. I would have to say fried chicken with mac & chese and bake beans.
