"What's great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it."

  10. my favourite one is

    "The day you were born

    Everybody was happy,

    You cried alone!

    Make your life such

    That in your last hour

    All others are weeping

And you are the only one

    Without a tear to shed!"

i dont know who it's by,

  11. Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! I'm always gonna love you, no matter what. No matter what happens. You're my son, you're my blood. You're the best thing in my life. But until you start believing in yourself, you ain't gonna have a life.

  12. not sure how long of a quote you're looking for... and most of my favorites are by ralph waldo emerson... but i think they still apply

-"What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us."

-"to be great is to be misunderstood"

  14. favorite song quote

" Maybe we've been living with our eyes half open, maybe we're bent and broken"

from the song meant to live by switchfoot

dance like no one is looking

live like there is no tommorow

love like it will never hurt

  15. “Give a child a hammer and everything becomes a nail."

This quotation comes from Abraham Kaplan's Law of the Instrument and it is often mistakenly attributed to Mark Twain. It is mentioned in Donne Colton et. al vs. New York Hospital in 1976.

  16. "I gotta roll the dice, never look back, and never think twice" - Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach

This quote always helps me when my friends and I want to do something stupid but none of us want to try it for fear of how much it will hurt, not if it will hurt.

Also "I don't know what I'm doing, all I know is I don't wanna stop" and "You're either in, or in the way" - both Ozzy Osbourne

The first quote applies to most of my life, and its keeps me going when idiots look at me strangely when I'm doing something that isn't 'normal'

The second quote helps me get over people who try to make my life a misery

    Hope this helps :)
