  1. last game Dad saw me play .. Aug 19th, 1995 - he died the next Friday of leukemia

we were down 1-0 with 5 minutes left when I won a faceoff in our zone and sped off on a breakaway.

admittingly I didn't score on the shot, but it got us a face off near their goalie.

we scored off the draw, then a couple more, for a 3-1 win.

  2. i once scored 6 goals in a game that included 2 ot's and a shootout and the shootout i shot 4 times. this was back when i was 10 or 11.

  3. Paul Henderson's winning goal in the 72 Canada/Russia series.

  4. Can't ever forget Kaspairitis 6 years ago getting the game winner in game 7 against the Sabres.

  5. Having the assist of my cousins first goal ever. He's not very good. played for 4 years without scoring.. XD. I had a shot, but he had a better one gave it to him he scored..game winner.

  6. I would say it would have to be with when Canada won the 2002 Olympics!!! It was a great game, it was nerve racking tho.:P I honestly just relaxed after Sakic scored to make it 5-2!!! I also remember others like in 2002 when the Leafs tied game 6 in the Eastern Conference Final. Also 2002, when the Leafs came back from 3-2 to beat the Sens. 2001, when the Leafs swept Ottawa. 2000 brawl between Flyers and Leafs.:P 2006 Olympics when Sundin set up the game winning goal in the final. sad memory = in 2001 when St.Louis trailed the Leafs 5-0 with 15 minutes left in the 3rd and came back to win 6-5 in OT.:O

  7. It still has to be watching the 1980 Winter Olympics "Miracle on Ice" game. I have many other fond memories of Hockey, both participating and spectating, but that is probably the most intense and memorable. Etched in my mind for eternity!

  8. When Darren McCarty (not the best skater in the NHL) got a breakaway and scored the game winning goal in overtime to win the cup.

  9. When i was playing in the playoffs for my team and we were down by and i got 4 goals and we won 7-6 thanx to me

  10. last season in an out of league tournament. we were up 5-1 with about 8 or 9 min. left in the third. the other team was started to get under my skin throwin some dirty hits, mouthin off and stuff since they knew they pretty much had lost already.  one guy kid jit me from behind down around his net and called me some names i wasn't to pleased with.  so first chance i got i hit someone on the other tam from behind not sure if it was the same person i think it was though. he turned around nad we started pushin each other then thier captian and another player came over and took over and I was in one a 3 on 1. i'm a small kid to 5'7 130lbs. and thier team was huge.  we got  in a shouting match I kept yelling the score at them and they were sayin something back. this is my fondest memory because I'm not that type of player Iplayed 38 games last season and was the only player on my team not to have any penalty minutes. but the best part was what happened next shift while i was on the bench the guys on the ice started to really go at throwin pucnhes and what not. thier goalie got throwin out of the game and they didn't have a back up. they ended up forfiting the rest of the game. and the next morning they had to plaay a consulation game while he moved on to the championship. but thier goalie and 2 other players got suspended so they borrowed the other teams back-up goalie and another player to play the game. our team had 1 player suspended and we lost 8-3 in the championship game but it's still a great memory.

  11. I haven't been watching hockey for very long so my memory is fairly recent.

My fondest hockey memory was watching the 2006/2007 season finale between the Leafs and Habs. The game was so exciting and it was probably the most exciting Leafs/Habs game in a while. If they won they would make the playoffs, if we won (only in regulation though) we would have a chance to make it. Thankfully we won, and I was jumping around because I was so excited. I had like 3 heart attacks in the final minute! Unfortunately we got knocked out the next day by the Islanders, but it was an exciting game nonetheless.

  12. when i scored to win are team are division banner last year in o.t i gotta tell you that goal will be in my mind for the rest of my life

  13. Going to play a game of adult rec hockey on a Sat night and having 2 front teeth knocked out with less than a minute left in the game. Having "Doc" open up his dentist office on Sunday morning to fix them and getting married Monday morning with a couple of new teeth and a fat lip.

  14. I actually think on this memory fondly... Playing deck with some freinds, taking a wrist shot, and finding out the goalie had not worn a cup as he curled into a fetal position and fell to the ground.... I chuckle every time I remember that....

I know it's probably not the warm and fuzzy memory you were looking for, but it brings a smile to my face even 10 years later....
