I have owned smaller vehicles with smaller engines that got worse around town mileage than a Yukon in the dead of winter. Yukon gets 15 mpg city in the dead of winter. I have had 4 cylinder vehicles that got 30mpg highway get 11 mpg in the city in the winter!

I talk to many people and ask them what they get for mileage and most of them don't check and or don't know how! Amazing!

  1. about 18 miles in town, more on the highway

  2. I own a '08 Chevy Tahoe LT with the fuel flex 5.3 Liter and I get about 16 mpg in town and 21 on a trip. And I absolutely love this vehicle. Winter or summer.

  3. Actually depending on the car you drive you will get worse gas millage during the winter! Because they add alcohol to the gas during the winter because it runs hotter I think; and it works well with most newer cars but if you have an older carburetted car it will give you worse millage. It burns more inefficiently.
