It was slightly low budget, but the action was a lot more raw. There was lots of blood and violence towards women. The storylines were kind of cheesy and the acting sucked, but all in all, I wish it was still around. They were the innovators of Hardcore and extreme. I wish Vince Mcmahon didn't change it at all. No mats, no DQ, anything goes. My kind of fighting. I will miss it. RVD COME BACK!!

It was a breath of fresh air, and nothing in America which tries to imitate it's feel has even come close to it. I loved the environment of the promotion more than anything- it was the promotion adult men turned to when they grew sick of the likes of Hulk Hogan and the child-oriented gimmicks that the major promotions spewed out.

I loved it, it was exciting,great storylines + matches, just everything about it was brilliant. Ive got ECW most extreme matches-I swear its like the best thing Ive ever seen. I dont watch ECW anymore they should change the name cos its not Extreme.At all.

now its an overglorified developemental territory for WWE.

It is getting better then it was when they first brought it back but will never match up to the old ECW.

Other than the main thing everyone loves it for I thought it was good. The fact that they gave young guys a chance was great. The great technical wrestlers they had were great.

I find it quite overated now adays though. Most fans who claim to love Old ECW never even saw it during its day. Most only know of the extreme matches they have seen since it died. I hate when people say ECW was all about extreme matches. Anyone who actually saw it know it was more than just about extreme matches.

The fans of Old ECW who sat in the stands thinking they were so cool cause they could sit and yell "holy $hit" or "You F*cked up" annoy me. They say they are wrestling fans but they didnt chant for a cool wrestling move they chanted for the extreme violence. They are part of the reason that good technical matches now get a "boring" chant.

People can complain about Hogan and the child oriented programing that wwe and wcw had but I would prefer to see that over New Jack act like he was a wrestler.

Don't get me wrong though I really enjoyed alot of what ECW I just also hated some of what they did.
