What is your greatest memory of "Killer" Kowalski?

The great Killer Kowalski passed away today. He had a number of great matches in the AWA, NWA, and WWWF. I most remember him for being a ruthless heel, his use of the Claw, and the great matches he had with Bruno Sammartino.

Graduates from his wrestling school include: Perry Saturn, Chyna, Big John Stud, and HHH.

He is a wrestler who will truly be missed.

I agree. Some of those matches with Sammartino were unbelievable. WWWF will not be the same.

Killer Kowalski knee dropped Yukon Eric and it cut off a chunk of Eric's ear.  I think his greatest match was the championship match he had with Edouard Carpenter.  It was a great back and forth struggle and even though Kowalski eventually lost his championship to Carpenter, it was still a great match.
