Not learning how to turn regret into life lessons much earlier in my life.

Regret is nothing more than thinking that doing something in the past differently would have changed the present.

What people often forget is that things could be WORSE than what they are. We tend to assume if we didn't do that thing in the past that life today would be better. It still might have turned out the same and it could have been worse.
