Do you hate him or like him or whatever.

I don't hate him anymore. But i am not a huge fan .. He is an okay wrestler, he's got charisma and mic skill. He's a real hard worker. And most importantly he doesn't have the superman gimmick anymore.. He actually jobs now..

My honest opinion on Cena is that I hate him.  He's just losing to make the non-marks seem as if he's all right.  Then, after the booing has settled, they'll have him win again.  When he comes back from injury, creative will have sympathy for his injury and give him the title.  They'll just say, "Here ya go, buddy.  You deserved it."  Then, he'll turn it into a frickin spinner

I hate John Cena persona but I respect(not like) John Cena the person.

He really got my respect in his match with RVD in the 1st One Night Stand.

He stood against a hostile crowd and a lot of fans were waiting outside to beat him up.

He had been cheered and jeered but he never backed down and said "I quit!!"

I respect him more than Batista!!!

He had wrestled and even with a limited moveset he still had good matches with HBK Randy Orton and Edge.

1st of all people dont give him a chance because i think he has:

-mic skill (promos)

-wrestling ability (1 year title riegn)

-strengh (FU the big show)

-submisson skills (STFU)

2nd people say he has 4-5 moves and i can count at least 13:

1) punches

2) facebuster with his hand

3) throwback

4) DDT

5) hip throw

6) shoulder knockdows

7) clothesline

8) fishermans supplex

9) STFU

10) FU

11) 5 knuckle shufle

12) spin out powerbomb

13) leg drop from top rope

so he has AT LEAST 13 moves and i might missed some so he may have more so the idea he has 4-5 moves is a load of rubbish

3rd he does stuff backstage like the make a wish foundation and helping kids

4th people say he is untalented OUTSIDE the ring which is ludacris because:

~he made a platinum album

~made a movie

5th he has took a step out of the title picture and people said they would like him better if he did that and they STILL dont give him the time of day

6th and finally he keeps things new unlike other superstars like he will change his wrestling attire to something new every once in a while

so overall john cena is called overated but is more underated by haters and personally i think he is a great wrestler and deserves his sucess and i hope he returns soon

I admire his skill.

Some people who don't like him are just jealous of his popularity and his mic time.  He's always going to have mic time, because he's obviously intelligent and he knows how to speak in front of crowds.  Being a "good guy" all the time isn't all that easy; like he said one time, "being at the top means that somebody always wants to come along and knock you down,"

When the sad deaths happened, he was the "go to" guy for an appearance on Larry King Live, along with Vince.  He showed in that live interview that he was intelligent, creative, and caring.  There's a brain behind all that bravado -- some people just can't handle it.

People are always going to be jealous of him, just like some of them are always suspicious of "HHH's" matches, because of who he is and the family he married into.  That's not just wrestling -- that's every where.  Some people just can't STAND it.

John Cena - He could be so much better than he is at the minute, at the minute he comes out and does the nearly same thing every week and the marine gimmick is going stale now. Everyone is begging WWE to turn him back into the doctor of thuganomics/rapping gimmick because it suits him better and he got more of a crowd reaction than he does now. It appealed to a more mature fanbase, now this marine gimmick is attracting the majority of 12 year olds and under, whereas his previous even attracted the likes of 16 year olds.

John Cena is really nice outside of wrestling, cares for his fans and acts as a good role model for them.

Plus he's a face and he gets booed; that's just plain pathetic, the way it is meant to work is that the faces get cheered and the heels get booed. But it's working a whole different way in this situation. Although you can hear a hoard of cheers from the crowd, you can sometimes still slightly even hear the boos, h**l in some cases with Cena you could easily hear the boos, like these events on youtube for instance:

But to keep John Cena's respect intact which he kinda deserves, I have wrote this:

John Cena because he is fun, funny, charismatic, a good brawler and powerhouse and knows how to get a crowd hyped up.

For all John Cena haters I have found a way to debunk all of your comments:

You all say these about John Cena:

1. His title reign was far too long and he gets too many title shots: Triple H, The Rock and JBL's title reigns went on for ages and I don't hear you complain about them. They also get (Except The Rock) loads of title shots and you seem to leave those superstars out when you criticise Cena. And it isn't like every match he gets is a main event, contender or title match.

2. His moveset is boring, he has a limited no. of moves and uses the same ones nearly every single match: Hey have you seen the people who use really simple moves like just punches and simple grapples like Mark Henry and Big Daddy V. Their movesets are hardly amusing, at least Cena puts some effort into his moves. Yet you fail to abuse them like you do to Cena. Plus John Cena is sometimes a mid carder with the jbl feud. In addition it is partly the trainers fault regarding Cena's moveset.

3. His marine gimmick is c**p: Changing his gimmick is good because it gives the fans something new, although his previous gimmick attracted more older fans and I prefer it, the wwe company partly told him how to do his gimmick.

In addition, how can you say that he gets the h**l booed out of him when he has a h**l of a lot of hype going and probably the most merchandise going.

Also his mic skills and charisma are outstanding, after all that is what wwe mostly about! More than wrestling abilty I think!

I think Cena has:

-strength

-charisma

-technical skill

-mic skill

-popularity

-overall skill

People just want him to turn heel because they think he has been a good guy for far too long and his heel character appeals to older fans whereas his new one mostly appeals to younger fans.

But I still like him as my favourite wrestler, even though I would love it if he changed to his thuganomics gimmick again since I think it was better, more interesting and it appealed to my age more.

But nonetheless, I think he is a fantastic wrestler.

So if WWE reading this; please turn John Cena heel and back into the doctor of thuganomics for the sake of his fanbase, popularity and respect.

I stopped liking Cena when he turned a different person he sucks now

I mean there's nothing funny about him any more he used to target both young and older audiences with his ability to be funny now hes beefing with him and her throwing pitty parties for himself don't get me wrong he is a good character hes a great heel/face he can do both roles hes good on the mic .

BUT ... Do I like Cena NO AND YES. NO because he was a no show at a main event  I went to see him at in Youngstown and YES because he has a fine wife and I respect that.
