  1. People who smoke pot? Why, they'll turn out just like me.

    Never too late to change.

A gateway? Heck no. That's like saying your house made the election results invalid.

It's no big deal, but hardly the thing I would say is acceptable to do while driving a school bus.

Why? Done it. Not a good scene.

    Where am I from?

    Earth.

  2. I definatey do not think it's acceptable. People change mentally and internally, and not in a good way.

    nyc

  3. I've been around several pot heads...they are losers.

-Fort Worth, Texas (San Diego, CA originally)

  4. joe/florida, i have no problem with someone who smokes pot, better than drinking for some people

  5. Burnouts leading a pointless and meaningless existence.

  6. Many years ago, I tried it, and complained that it didn't do anything for me. I was told that "you have to do it a couple of times before you get anything out of it". That screamed "CUMULATIVE DRUG" to me, and I've never used it since.

Over the past forty years, I have seen what it can do to the brains of people who use it regularly, and I'm glad I didn't take it up.

  7. I don't think marijuana is to blame for doing harsher drugs (a gateway drug), drugs were a common problem in society long before marjuana became the drug of the day... Marijuana is about as much a gateway drug to other drugs as driving is a gateway to drunk driving...

Taboo is relative to who you spend your time with...

It's only a problem in excess, the same as most things... So long as people don't let it control their behaviour, I don't see a problem with it.

    I'm from Canada.

  8. I'm in NYC.

There are much worse things people can be doing, but I still don't think it's the smartest thing to do.

I think it CAN lead to other drugs.

Taboo? I'm not sure. Nothing seems to be taboo in today's society where values and morals seem to have disappeared.

Bottom line: it's not the worse thing you can be doing, but I think it's immature once you're older than say 20.
