  1. I have heard it is like this.  If you once had a child, but that child made wrong choices and wound up becoming someone's slave in a country where slavery is legal, then redemption is like you buying that child back from the slave owner.  Jesus bought us back with his blood, back from the slavery of sin.

  2. Being better, morally or behaviorally, than you previously were.

  3. We are all sinners and Jesus purchased our salvation(redeemed) by shedding his innocent blood on the cross for our sins, even though we did not deserve it.

By putting our faith in Christs finished work, allow him to cleanse us from our sin we can be forgiven and have a right fellowship with God for all eternity.

    Hebrews 9:22

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Col 1:21Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of[f] your evil behavior. 22But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— 23if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

  4. Christ Jesus is my redemption.

  5. Redemption requires an appropriate action to level your karma. Contrary to popular Christian belief you can't wish or relent your damage away. You have to correct your deeds threw deeds, and honestly not seek redemption as a condition of your mending. It's a c**p shoot,
