  1. actually you should ask, "how old are you?"

    up till 30 i had no problem keeping by BMI in the low 20's.

    at 50 it's a struggle to keep it at 25.

    all the time/money to eat pizza now, but i can't!!

  10. BMI is an absolutely useless indicator of fitness. It does not account for bodyfat levels. I have a BMI in the obese range and I am a competetive bodybuilder. I also have single digit bodyfat and you can see every abdominal muscle and striation. A person with a BMI of 20 can still be flabby and out of shape and just be skinny fat.

    normal is 18.5-22.9 btw. for anyone of any height.

    but i am 5'7" and i think it'd be interesting to have a bmi of 17.

  14. BMI is different for every person. You want to try and be in the normal weight catagory. Mine is 20.8. You can go to http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.... to fine yours.

    Underweight = <18.5

    Normal weight = 18.5-24.9

    Overweight = 25-29.9

    Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
