What is your ideal type of climate?

Whoever can give me the best answer will get the 10 points. This is truly about who gets the best answer, not whether or not you agree with me. Why is your ideal type of climate your ideal? How would you specifically like your ideal type of climate to be over the year? Be specific. Don't just say "temperate", "arctic/antarctic", "cold", "mild", "tropical", "desert", etc. There are many different subtypes of each. Be specific, go into details. Also, explain why you'd like that type of climate.

A Navy friend said that Guam has a year round nice climate. It is moderated by warm seas and sea breezes.

My choice is right here in Michigan:

Two months cold, two months hot, and just fine in between.

North of the tornado belt. West of hurricanes. Away from earthquakes. Good water sports all around the state. Good skiing in winter, if that is what you want.

I like cold weather.  I would like it for the temperature around 35 or 40 degrees most of the year.  I wouldn't mind living in Maine.  I live in Virginia now.  Alaska sounds good, but I don't know if I could put with that 6 month light and dark thing

I live in California.  From where I live I can be in any temperature within a matter of hours.  We have beach, where it's pleasant.  Mountains, where its cool, and everything in between.  I lived in Ohio for a while..beautiful, but the humidity got to me., and the winters are extreme.  California has it all.  (I sound like an advertisement!)  Winters are tolerable here because there is no extreme.  Temperatures in my town range from 50 degrees in winter to 100 in summer.  The Spring months are absolutely perfect.  I love California weather.

I would say being in a stormy environment would be mine. I love storms hurricanes tornadoes whirlpools. So I guess tropical. But if I had it my way I would always be in a storm. Maybe the eye of a tornado.
