ok, so i've been a street dancer for 4 years now. i'm living in nyc at the mo, training with my crew, Tainted. i also took a position at the AADC in rochester as a semi-professional choreographer. i've had a lot of contact with new people, who seem to turn up their noses when i tell them i'm a street dancer. just because i don't do ballet, or lyrical, or jazz etc, does that make me a bad dancer? or less likely to succeed? what are your opinions of street dancers?

mac.

  1. Street dancers and ballet are not quite the same. And street dancers are f*cking hot!!!!

  2. Sure, street dancers aren't professionally trained but they train themselves. that's wat so good about them. u kno they hav a passion for it. they tend to be more unique and create their own style. but the only reason that i would turn my nose against them is b/c they don't learn other dance styles so easily. whereas if u learned modern, u catch on to other dances easier. Modern is more versatile. But other than that, street dancers r cool.

  3. ive done street, hip hop, ballet, tap and jazz and i think street and hip hop were best..

  4. I think steet dancers are awesome!
