This is the motto of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Actor's Fraternity, of which I am a member of the Nu Alpha Cast, located at the University of West Alabama. I adopted this as my own life motto for several reasons. In no particular order: It helps me remember the close friends I made while acting in college; it reminds me to live proactively by trying to treat everyone around me fairly and positively; in work, it reminds me to not be lazy (especially helpful since I am a U.S. Soldier); it causes me to want to do all I can to provide for my family, helping me to not see it as something I have to do as a husband and father; and it drives me to excel in all I do.
