What is your most fertile days? So confusing....?

Ok so I thought it was like 10-14 days after your period, but i recent read that it is 3-4 days after your period. Am I doing it wrong, how can Itell for sure what days to start, as we have had no luck as of yet?

i know i found this very confusing myself....like everyone else has mentioned, it all depends on the length of your cycle. for instance, i have a 32 day cyle so i ovulate bw days 18-20...count 14 days back from the start of your next period date.

so i am suppose to get my period on 08/30 counting 14 days backwardsi including day 8/30 would mean i am ovulating on day 8/17.....see

8/17, 8/18, 8/19, 8/20, 8/21, 8/22, 8/23, 8/24, 8/25, 8/26, 8/27, 8/28, 8/29, 8/30

also a good way to dertermine if your ovulating is my observing your cervical mucus. when its egg white and stretchy that means your are about to ovulate, a very good time to start having s*x.

hopefully i will know on 8/30 if it worked for me this month too :) keep me posted!!

It depends on your cycle.

You are most fertile (i.e., can get pregnant as a result of having s*x) between 3 days before ovulation and the day OF ovulation.

When YOU ovulate depends on your body and the length of your cycles -- it's usually about 14 days before the start of your NEXT period, but you'd need to monitor your own body's cycle to determine exactly when you ovulate.

I can see that you've got lots of conflicting answers here but I have read up alot on this subject and I really do know what I'm talking about.

Firstly, you need to know how long you cycle is. Count day 1 of your cycle the first day of red flow of your period and then count how many days it is till your next period (again the red flow, not spotting). Most people have a 28 day cycle but others have slightly longer cycles. Then, most women ovulate between 12 and 16 days BEFORE their next cycle.

If in doubt, why don't you get some ovulation predictor kits?

It's 10-14 days after your period.  you should be ovulating and fertile then.

It depends on how long is your cycle. If you have a 28 days cycle around the 14th day (after your last period started) is a good bet. You can buy a kit at your local pharmacy which you can use to confirm the time of ovulation.

A woman is typically the most fertile 14 days after the first day of her period. If you aren't sure though when you are ovulating-buy an ovulation kit at any store pharmacy. They are a little pricey-but worth it when you are TTC. Good Luck!

you should try the over-the-counter daily ovulation test. its like 20 tests, you take one a day and it will tell you the best days to conceive. i think its from First Response. its a pink box.

it is 10 to 14 days from the first day of your period...then by time the end of your period...it then only bc 7 to 8 days enter your first day of your last menstrual period here on the website i gave you and it will show u all

It is not always 10 to 14 days, that is only an average. Just like woman's cycles are different, so is there ovulation times. I was going with this 14 day rule and ttc and not getting pregnant so this month I bought ovulation test strips and got a very clear positive 4 days after my period which is 9 days into my cycle.

Well I have always been told that ur most fertile right after ur period for up to 2 weeks after you have ur period. Hope this makes sense. I have 2 children, I always got pregnant. within the 2 weeks after my period. I also got told by someone that if you were on birth control (the pill) it would take a month or 2 before I could get pregnant. But that was not true at all.So, I have come to figure out that every women is different guess that why God made us all unique! Wish you the best of luck! Congratulations!
