Everyone has that one game where they caught a foul ball or got to meet a player.....what's yours?

For me, it would have to be the Cubs game against the Giants where I met Mark Grace.

  1. Sitting behind the bullpen. =]

  2. Watching my friend win his league championship during middle school.

  3. It was during the winter league in Puerto Rico. I used to go there to get autographs with a friend and I went up to Juan Gonzalez to ask for his autograph. He smiled, asked me what I thought about the game (I just looked up with nothing to say) and he signed the baseball. I guess that's the most exciting I have ever been in a park.

On TV it was Francisco Cabrera's hit that scored Sid Bream to get the Braves to the World Series in 92.  That was BIG!!!

  4. The Atlanta Braves entire 1991 season was something I'll never forget.  They went from the worst in the National League to the best and to the World Series.  The atmosphere was amazing and this was when it was a brand new experience for Braves fans who were thrilled.  The Tomahawks were in full force and it was almost like being at a college football game with the noise and excitement.  Even though we lost to the Twins in a great series, it is an experience i'll never forget.

A few years earlier during really hard times, I got a foul ball for the first time at a game.  I think it was in 1988 against the Expos and I still have the baseball from that game.

  5. 1988 league championship series game 2 sitting in right field chanting DARRYL DARRYL it was great..after about 5 innings of hearing  that he finally bowed to the fans...

  6. My most memorable baseball experience was probably catching a home run ball at Camden Yards ( Baltimore Orioles Field )

  7. when the brawl happened between boston and yankees and pedro threw that old guy down

  8. Sitting behind home plate at Wrigley and catching a Soriano Foul Ball

  9. Watching Mark Fidrych pitch at Tiger Stadium.

  10. I have TWO

    1. I was with my two sons trying to get Derek Jeter to look at me just so I could take a picture.  I kept yelling his name and he finally turned around and yelled, "What do you want?" I was so surprised and shocked that I yelled at him.  He then went up for batting practice and swung and hit a ball that broke his bat.  He brought the bat back and gave it to my son.

    2.  My experience with my dad at Yankee Stadium and now that the Stadium is going to be knocked down I am sad.

  11. I went to a yankee's game and A-rod got a foul ball and handed it to me. Maybe his home run swing will rub off on me lol

  12. Attending the 2005 World Series and having the White Sox win. This is something that Cub fans cannot relate to, and I love that!

  13. went to the all star fan fest in SF last year. still have a t shirt! it was a great experience. you could pitch to a rod and mcgwire in a sim, and beaned barry in the head with 75 mph fastball! i met bob feller too.  i think going to a fanfest is better than the AS game.
