Nepal is very beautiful in my opinion. Yes Kathmandu is very crowded and dirty but it still has its own unique beauty. One of my nost favorite regions of nepal is Pokhara because the Annapurnas seem close enough to touch, and lake Phewa seems so pristine. I went a year ago, and the maoist protests are a lot to take in if your from the states. However besides the protests, Nepal is one of my most favorite places to visit in the world.
