  1. Look at Canadian culture, they are way more polite to one another--and respect each other no matter your ethic background.

  2. Multicultural societies can be very beneficial. When one lives in a multicultural society, they are exposed to many different belief systems, cultures, etc. They are able to see how other people from different races/ethnic backgrounds life. Most of the time this is beneficial. It may, however, be a pathway to racism. If one who lives in a multicultural society views a particular culture on a daily & begins to show distaste toward that culture, then that hatred will grow & be passed on to future generations. Even though most communities are multicultural these days, the cultures within the society usually maintain self imposed "isolation". They tend to "group" together and stick together.

However, in a uniculture, where exposure to other cultures is almost non-existant, this can cause fear of other races/ethnic backgrounds. It can lead to devout racism because on isolation.

  3. The most interesting way to live.  Variety is the spice of life.  What could be more interesting than living among a diverse group of people with a wide variety of interests - food, traditions, holidays, customs - to learn about and enjoy.
