What is your opinion about people of Greece? I'm curious to see what do they really believe?

I don't know for sure now about modern Greeks, but after reading Thomas Cahill's "Why the Greeks Matter", I find it hard to respect early Greece's beliefs, myths, and morals (or severe lack thereof). It's a disturbing book, but by a great author. You should check it out if your local library has it or if you can find it elsewhere.

Greece to americans are the bedrock of our democracy. they are an ally, we think of them in good terms. good decent people.

there are many greeks in the usa. they have man festivals in my community. what most non americans do not know is that despite the melinng pot thing, people of many cultures have cultural events and many cities.
