  1. I watched this interesting doco on TV about people who have gone into other dimensions. Scientists claim this is a 3 dimensional world but there are at least 10 other domensions. There was this fellow in Russia and he was considered dead. They put him in the morgue for three days. Now on the other side of the town a family He knew had a baby and this baby was in pain, doctors did not know what was the matter. This fellow was able to visit this family in his mind and found out that the baby's hip was twisted. Mean while the people at the morgue were going to conduct an autopsy when this person flinched as the knife cut his skin. He was in a coma and came out of it a couple of weeks later - the first thing he did was contact the family with the sick baby and tell them and the doctors the child's hip was twisted. It was and they were able to help the baby. This gut eventually migrated to America where he became a priest (he was an athiest) prior to this experience. Another lady was walking along and people were bumping into her. It was as if she was "invisible". What scientists saud was her body had gone to another dimension but not her mind!!

  2. I could be picky here and ask, "what kind of time are you referring to as slipping?"  Are we talking 3D linear time? Relativistic time?  14D imaginary time? Or the human perception of time?

I'm guessing that you mean those episodes where some people claimed to have accidentally stumbled into the past for a brief period, then return to the present.  I've seen some weird stuff on TV that "explore" such events.

My opinion:  Not a chance; they don't happen.  WAY too much science in opposition to it.

My secret wish:  I'd love to experience one!

  3. Time-slips do happen to people, I know what you are talking about and yes it has happened to me on several occasions.

Let me explain. When I was younger about 18 I worked in a supermarket. For a long time, the only place I ever drove was to work and home. One day I started my car and started moving. As I pulled forward, I pulled into the supermarket parking lot, 8 minutes later. I had skipped the entire trip.

Why did this happen? I had driven the road over and over again, so my mind simply didnt bother to record this time. There was nothing distiquising to record to memory. My short term memory automatically discarded it.

I was left there wondering how I had gotten to the supermarket 8 minutes later, because I could not remember making any trip in between. It seemed like magic.

Several times I had similar incidences, all the same thing, doing a routine thing which I had done countless times. The mind just discards a segment of time from the short term memory and it is not recorded to long term memory.

Dejavue is actually a similar trick of memory. You remember something, but your mind records it in the wrong place in long term memory. Therefore you feel like it is a memory as well as happening now. In actuality you never experienced the Dejavue prior to the incident, but your mind created the memory as the incident was happening.

  4. i was so sure when i was younger that this can happen, but now, i'm not so sure anymore

but look here, the same way how i came back to my previous message and I can edit it in yahoo answers, until you close the question, so probably you can do it with your own time, you can go back to the time you have access to, and change it, untill it becames permanently stable.

  5. time slip could be from one of your eyes registering what you are seeing slower than the other eye.

  6. I believe in time-slips or time storms.

I was a truck driver going 65 miles an hour, and I knew that there were a series of S-turns up the road, the next thing I knew the S-cures were behind me. I do not remember slowing down nor do I remember turning the truck. The one thing I do know for sure was the fact that a fully loaded diesel could not have made those S-curves at more than 25 miles an hour.

Can anyone tell me what happened to me?

  7. The question is. Did it really happen or your clock broken.

  8. MANY..... Seniors.... Experience it ... All the TIME...!

    It is called....... ALZHEIMER'S!

    Thanks, RR

  9. i dont think you could really confirm that it happened

  10. I completely believe in it....scared myself silly once.  I started noticing that stuff I would see on the news sounded like something I had already heard or seen.....a car wreck that I thought happened days earlier or a plane crash that I was sure had already happened.  I convinced myself that I was imagining it.  Till one day I saw a news story about a woman who had been killed that I took particular notice of because she was famous....ok a few days later  it was on the news as something that happened that day.....completely floored me, I realized it wasn't my imagination and I was so shook up I cried, scared me....didn't watch the news for a long time after that because I didn't want to experience that again.  Only happened for those few months.  I have told my friends that I had experienced it and was treated like something was honestly wrong with me, the usual comment was "  what were you high on, and can I have some" .

  11. Time slips can occur.  Lots of stuff across the internet about them.  Look it up. Anyone who says they can't are either closed minded or only believe in things they can put their hands on.

Sorry guys, there's more than meets the eye.  Remember we have more than one "sense".

Actually, now that I think of it, here's a couple of good sites...

    http://timetravel.atspace.com

    and

    http://www.realityshifters.com

  12. The passage of time is fixed unless you are traveling at relativistic speeds.  Any apparent 'time-slip' is a result of your flawed perception.  For example, if you sleep, many hours can pass without your knowledge.  This does not mean that 8 hours disappeared.

  13. Kind bud..

  14. It cannot.
