  1. i would say not properly. though you seem to relate food to emotional distress. it sounds to me like you dont eat when you are emotionally worried or something is going on, which isnt anorexia as such, but could lead onto it...it is some form of an eating disorder though i would say whether intentional or not.

you may just lose your appetite and want to eat when you are going through things but you should try to eat atleast nutrient dense foods in these times because it is very very unhealthy and can mess uo your body. i  suffered with anorexia and i would say its very much a state of mind, when your not eating are you doing it because you think you need to lose weight? is your mind obsessed with thoghts of foods e.t.c?? anoreix is  very much the mind frame as much as the restriction of foods.

be healthy, and try to eat when you go through things but i woulnt say you were anorexic.

  2. I don't think so. Anorexia is really hard to overcome because it can be a symptom of OCD.

Anyway, the first time, you were sick, so I'm guessing you just didn't feel well and didn't feel like eating. A lot of people don't feel like eating when they're sick.

The second time, you were just sad and again, some people don't feel like eating when they're sad. It's just your emotions playing with you. (Some people are the exact opposite and overeat when they're emotional. And when animals are sad (like if their children die), sometimes they won't eat as well.) I think your Dad made it worse by force-feeding you though, because you obviously didn't like it so the emotions were coming into play again. And as you said, you were determined to not to eat because he was forcing you, so you were just rebelling against him.

If you're really concerned about it, you could go to your doctor. Just don't begin obsessing about it to much or it could develop into an eating disorder.

  3. no it definitely wasn't anorexia, it sounds like you were depressed from not getting what you wanted, if this happens again I would go and talk to someone, because in it's own way this could be quite dangerous as well

  4. I don't think so.

Anorexia is a body disorder and if the person becomes too obsessed they will probably die from organ failure.

You were probably depressed which gives you a lack of hunger and unfortunately, your parents could/would not understand that
