The "alleged seizure " I mentioned above is a glioblastoma which the Senator has. Basically, it is better known as a brain tumor.

Sympathies for him are needed.

  1. I also think it was a stroke...I also think that the Doctors and Teddy's PR people are trying to play down the seriousness of his condition. I must have watched the CNN coverage close to six hours yesterday (TV at work permanetly tuned in- it sure as h**l wasn't by choice!) and not once did I hear from a Mass General medico. The medical talking heads on CNN don't count.

Nope...I think Teddy's had it. The Kennedy Curse Strikes Again. Jeez...a Kennedy being brought down due to natural causes...seems like a bit of an anomaly, doesn't it?

  2. What do you mean alleged? The guy's 76 for God's sake. He's been drinking like a fish all his life. He's old and unhealthy. I don't think (for once) anything is suspect with this Kennedy.

  3. Senator Ted Kennedy like most of us needs to diet, and exercise for weght reduction. By no means, is this  easy to accomplish, and after many repeated attemts I have lost 5 lb and I am not looking to find them again. Over weight knows to cause many healthe problems. If Alcohol is also in question it is best left out of consumption for it has too many calories.  Best wishes to Mr Kennedy, hopefully this is a warning on time, for  a Public servant of long standing.

  4. Alcohol related.

  5. He had surgery on his carotid artery in his neck. I think that he either suffered a stroke or some other interruption of blood flow to his brain.

  6. I think it was stroke related.
