What is your opinion of eco-hippies (read below)?

the type that force their beliefs on you and say you are wrong no matter what...

if you dont know what an eco hippie is, its a person who who is like a hippie but more 21st century like...

In general, the legal code is designed to reflect the morality of the state.  That means, if something is illegal, it is wrong and sinful, and if something is legal, it is fine.  In general.

And yet we see this break down in the case of eco-hippies, because state laws protect them from their most appropriate fate.

I don't know. I mean, if they're trying to protect the environment, that's good. But telling people they must do what you say, is wrong. I say that it's great to be green, and they can tell other people about it, but they really shouldn't  force their ideas on them, and tell them they're always wrong. I do think being eco-friendly is a good idea, because the ocean is too pretty to clutter up with oil. Maybe that makes me an eco-hippie. Better to save what we have than waste it, mmm?

It is a grand idea however in today's age the "lifestyle" makes it impossible to go completely green

I've never met one, I've only met people who seem to be offended and even angry that I want to live a less wasteful life. I do talk about my choices, buy I never tell people what they should do.

eco hippies are those people who say what's scientifically is right opposing the common misconception of the others

what they oppose is the idea. what's wrong is the "thinking". and they want to change human's common thinking about our planet.

I think putting labels on people isn't as useful as finding a polite way to nip the argument of an overzealous individual in the bud.

No one can "force" a belief on you.  It sounds as if you may be a bit insecure about your own beliefs.

Anyone who trys force their beliefes on you is ignorant.  Church goers for instance...very irritating.  People who want you to stop smoking and bug you about it constanly.  Very stupid idea.  You have to want to do something.  

However, it's not that they are wrong.  They are just right and happen to be a holes.

Most eco-hippies don't have a grasp of the real world.

an example is the Hollywood idiots thinking that with their million dollar bank accounts and political clout that the average person can do what they do they usually base their views on false data and organization's that prey upon their ignorance.
