It was a request by Pentagon.

You see the political trap here. Pentagon asked Obama not to visit those soldiers and Obama rearranged the visit sometime later and in a more respectful way. (Note: Obama didn't want those soldiers in his campaign show)

Then McCain who got a good link with Pentagon blamed on the move of Obama.

Obama is a JFK wannabe. He doesn't care about the war. All he cares about is being popular.

Another of his blunders due to his elitism. He went over there as a photo op and nothing more. At the basketball game photo op soldiers said he wouldn't speak or acknowledge their presence.  He stuck his nose up in the air. He is so ignorant he figures that word wouldn't get back to the families at home. Similar to his statements about folks in Pennsyvannia when he was in Frisco. His attitude and treatment toward the soldiers made it back here before he did. This man is not only someone we cannot allow to be president, he doesn't need to serve in any capacity in government. His judgements are more than questionable. His ability to reason has escaped him. He is a total embarrassment. Anyone who treats our soldiers in the field in this manner is a traitor.

It showed his total disrespect for them.  What is really sad is he didn't visit because he could not bring the cameras and entourage with him.  I wasn't going to vote for the man and the things he says and does convince me that my initial decision was the right one.

Amerika has spread its tentacles so far and wide that no single person has the ability to visit them all.

Now if all Yanks go home, Obama can visit them easily.

I don't think it hurted him, he visited them in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama is visiting European leaders and I tell u no European leaders likes bush policies
