  1. Don't know too much about him....he needs some elocution lessons...I know he's been hired to be the coach but if you're going to bleat on to media and the IRB...then at least be understandable...

I suppose he'll be judged by how well the SA team does in the TriNations

  2. its too soon to make a valid judgement

steyn is a ball hog. thats why he was on the bench. he needs to learn how to pass the ball. percy is getting slow. not that he was ever fast

  3. Seems like an alright guy. If they keep losing to us, I'll back him a whole lot more!

  4. He is fast showing just why he was chosen on race rather than merit.  He makes inexplicable selection decisions, and seems to not know the meaning of a game plan.  He also has an unbelievably big mouth which he needs to very quickly learn to control!

  5. Too early to say.

Lot of talk but you talk don't win Test matches with talk.

Edit: I read today that SA have demanded an apology from Craig Dowd (former AB prop) for calling De Villiers a puppet!  Wouldn't appear to be too much respect for him out there.

  6. He interviewed well before he came to NZ, but the man is a cry baby now that he is here and things aren't going his way.

He lacks respect for NZ rugby and should learn to take a beating without the drama and cry baby tears.

Surely he must have known that beating NZ at home is harder than winning a world cup!

He should take solice in the fact that RSA have beaten NZ at home - many countries never have and maybe never will. If one thing is certain, it is that RSA will beat NZ at home again, but shooting your mouth off when you loose to a great team - no value or respect to that. I certainly expected more. Hopefully we will see the measure of the man tomorrow - discipline is key - will soon see if he is a puppet coach or if the Bokke listen to him.

  7. Who?

  8. The problem is that i don't think he has the experience at the top level. He was quite successful in u/2, wasn't as great as Jake. People should give him time to show his ability, but if it doesn't work out, they should sack him.

His tactics were aweful against New Zealand and I don't agree with his selection, especially the winger and how the h**l can you drop Steyn and Percy for such an important game.

People talk about him been not a great speaker, but they have to realise that SAFU hired him as a manager and not PR.
