What do you think Harlem will be like in 5 or 10 years and beyond? What do you think are the implications for Manhattan as a whole?

  1. Two sides to every coin... sure is hard for people to have to be moved out...BUT ..the increase in property taxes ( sometimes ten-fold or more)..will provide money for the government to take care of the needs of the unfortunate, or maybe even create jobs..... NOW whether they choose to spend the money that way is " another thing" !!

I know in Chicago we have hundreds of people " directing traffic"...( all they do is wave appropriately when the lights change)... sometimes three on one corner...and I'll venture to say we've also hired people to take care of their kids...while they're waving.  It's called " change"... it's wonderful... it's the " coming thing"...everybody is happy.... except of course the people who ACTUALLY  WORK  and PAY  PROPERTY TAXES.
